Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2017 to 2019 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and the F-550 trucks with the 6.7 liter V8 turbo diesel engines. Now, on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now, this Custom Fit Engine Air Filter replaces your vehicle's existing air filter to help improve performance. Zoom in on it and show you it has nice embossed paper pleats, which will protect your engine from debris, improve the air flow. This'll help prevent harmful dirt and debris from entering the engine, increases the flow of air to the engine, which improves acceleration and mileage. Also on this, where you can see it has the attached foam pre-filter right over here. Now, this will easily install in your engine's air filter housing.
The silicone sealing gasket right here ensures a nice, strong seal between the filter and the air intake box. Now, this is for quantity of one single use engine air filter. This filter is an exact replacement for the Echo Guard part number XA10580, the Purolator part number A48219, the FRAM part number CA12182, and the WIX part number WA10679. Now, one note on this filter is the manufacturer recommends changing your air filter every 12,000 to 15,000 miles. And to determine how often your filters should be changed, we recommend for you to consult your vehicle's owner's manual.

Website led me to believe that this would work for my vehicle. That was not the case. CS said I could return it but I would have to pay for shipping costs, and sadly it would cost me more in shipping to return it than the item costed. Double check that this is the right one for your vehicle before purchasing as the website may not accurately direct you to the correct one, as it did for me.
Everything was shipped the day I ordered it. Filters fit like they should. The BW hitch fits great, is heavy duty and will probably be the last one I buy. Great job!

Shipping was extremely fast and of course customer service is absolutely top notch! The filter itself has almost the same color as a Fram filter and the filter material doesn’t look like anything special. It looks like a standard filter though when I start driving it around that will be the true test.
