Question:
Im looking for air bag system for a FJ Cruiser 2010. I will be adding between 600 and 1000 lbs. of gear for over landing.I see part F4135 will do in the back. What do recommend for front, will be adding 170 lbs. to front. Also what about an air compressor, need it to air up tires on trail.

Hey Mitch. The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F4135 are exactly what you need for the rear of your 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. These are going to install inside your rear coil springs and are compatible with both the 2WD and 4WD models.
For a onboard compressor, I recommend the Firestone Air Command Heavy Duty Air Compressor with Tank item # F2266. This kit includes everything you need to install the compressor, connect to your air bags, control the pressure, and inflate your tires.
To get some suspension support in the front end, you'll want the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs item # SS84PV. These are compatible with the 4WD models only. They replace your existing front bump stops to keep your front end from sagging.
What part of the country are you going to be overlanding in?

Hey Mitch, how did the setup with the Coil-Rite air springs and the SumoSprings work out on your FJ Cruiser? I'm curious if the heavy-duty compressor gave you enough power for airing up on the trail. Your update could make it easier for others planning similar overlanding builds.
