We're we take a real quick look at a Replacement Socket Assembly for the Superwinch S Series X9 and C1000 Crane Winches. So, folks, not much more to say about that. Again, make sure you have those series of Superwinch and this will be a replacement part directly from Superwinch for those models. Now, as you can see, it's got the main housing here.
You got all the wiring and all the connectors. These would get attached to the other side, then these would slide into the blade connection. Obviously, they'd go all the way in. I'm not gonna push that in right now. And then you have the nice outer cap here that would let you close it up and seal everything from the weather, and this cap obviously is slotted and has to match up with that, but you get the idea, right So, it would basically go on like that and it would cover this whenever you don't wanna use it or get water and that kinda stuff in there.
So, again, it is slotted, it can only go on one way. And again, that's gonna keep the moisture, the weather out, those kind of things. You get the two mounting screws and the nuts to go with 'em to install it, and again, all the brass ring terminals needed to marry up with everything. I would think you would provide the socket with the control cable. I ordered a controller and a solenoid, but the socket was not included, at least as an option. My original set up had a different plug on the controller and the new one would not plug into it.
Kate was fantastic! I had a problem with an old X3 winch that I didn't even purchase from etrailer and Kate went above and beyond to help me get the problem resolved.

I used this to replace the plug on my Superwinch EPi9. Plug is all the same, the only difference is the older EPi winches have a connector on the 4 wires inside. Pins are all the same, so this works for those older winches.
