Hi there, heavy haulers. Today we're going to be taking a look at Reese's Fifth-Wheel Cover. This is a universal fit. Now, while this cover is designed for Reese hitches, many of our customers have reported that it works great on their Curt hitches and we've got it on our Demco Autoslide right here, and it works out great with this one as well.This is going to keep your fifth-wheel protected from the elements and even though many of the components here you keep greased up which helps protect it against corrosion and keeps everything working properly, keeping the moisture out of there as well as keeping it greased, is going to significantly increase the life of all of your components and ensure they stay working smoothly.And it's a nice thick vinyl cover. It feels very durable. I don't think this thing's going to tear.
It's actually pretty strong and if we kind of just take a look at how thick it is there, it's really pretty beastly. It has elastic band around the entire thing to help it suck in around your hitch and then on each side, we have straps with buckles on this so you can tighten it down to ensure it fits properly on your hitch.And when you want to remove it, you no longer has to do any adjustments with the band here. We can just undo the buckle. We'll do the one on the other side as well, and then it will just lift right off of there. I like to do the side without the handle first cause it slides off the handle and if we look here, there are two holes in it and this gives us plenty of options for our handles to pass through.When you're ready to put it in place, it's just as easy.
I like to start on the handle side first and choose the hole that appropriately matches our handles a little bit more towards the rear of our truck. So we're going to slide it through that hole and we're just going to bring the ends around and tuck it around our hitch and then we can grab our straps and buckle it back into place.If you need to, you can pull the strap to further tighten it down. This cover is designed to fit on any of your fifth-wheel hitches that are up to 18 inches deep by 28 inches wide and even with our Tonneau cover in place, it's still a great idea to have a cover for your fifth-wheel hitch if you're planning on using your truck, as a truck, while your fifth-wheel is in place.For an example, let's say I just went and picked up a small mini fridge or something that was a little too tall to sit underneath our Tonneau cover. We can leave that open and we can keep our fifth-wheel hitch protected.That completes our look at Reese's Fifth-Wheel Hitch Cover.

Product fits the Reese 16k hitch perfectly and appears quite durable. He added straps provide additional security when driving down the road ensuring the cover does not blow away.
Bought this cover for my Elite Reese fifth wheel hitch. It only covers the head but is too small to cover the base as weel. I guess the head is the most important part to keep out of the wether so I'm keeping it. Wish is was larger however.
Installed cover on Reese 16K hitch with round tube slider. Cover fits very good, and has both elastic and 2 straps to secure it. Be aware that cover only covers fifth wheel part of hitch, not hitch frame/support.

Meets our needs. While we used the 12 inch lube disc, it's not large enough to ensure there isn't metal-to-metal contact when hitching/unhitching. Consequently, we've stated lubing areas prone to metal-to-metal contact. We're using the cover to reduce opportunities for the grease to jump out and attack my pants when in the bed of the truck.
I received this very quickly after ordering on eTrailer.com - It arrived today and I, literally, had it out of the box and secured on my 5th wheel on my truck in less than 4 minutes - it is that easy! I have a Reese Elite 16k 5th wheel and this cover fits perfect - a hole for the arm and quick release snaps to secure it on either side of the cover - nice job Reese and nice job eTrailer.com!

Still happy with the cover. Works as designed,,,
The cover is designed for a Reese hitch and it fit my Curt 25 ok. It is a little large but it will stay on with the straps that tighten it. Definitely will keep the dirt out. Would recommend it to others

Hitch covers are still working just fine staying on the as they are supposed to. Have not had any issues would recommend this to others. Works Great
The description said it was Reese or lead me to believe it was Reese brand, but the tag inside has some brand I have never heard of. Other wise it is working okay but it has only been a few days.
Excellent product that lasts about 2 years in the Florida sun.

It is started to get hard from the Florida sun. It usually lasts a little over a year before the vynal starts to crack from being sun burnt.
Thanks for the hitch cover for my Curt 16K. The Reese RP30055 does the trick very well as described in your Q&A article on the etrailer website. Pictures are attached.

Great cover. Good quality. Although it doesn't cover the entire 5th wheel hitch, it does protect the hitch plate from the winter weather. The adjustable straps allows the cover to be used while driving down the road (w/o the trailer).

Great cover. Easy to attach. However, this is my second cover. The straps on the first cover eventually broke after 2 + years in the weather.
Bought the Reese 30055, 5th wheel hitch cover for my Curt 24T. Works great and fits really great. Straps are very strong. Recommend very highly. Staff was very helpful with all my questions and ordering was very easy.

the hole where the slider handle goes through needs to be cut a little longer. When the cover is on it tends to wrinkle up because of the handle hole to short.
This appears to be a well made product. Its made to fit a Reese and I use it on a B&W Companion hitch. Its not a perfect fit, but its close enough.

The cover fit my Reese hitch head perfectly. It's heavy duty & well made. Easy to install & looks good.

Doing its job and holding up great.
Etrailer is the gold standard that other companies should strive towards.
I had a hitch cover that was defective so I emailed customer service regarding this issue. Customer service responded within one day giving me a return authorization. I mailed back the hitch cover and within two weeks I was notified that a new cover was being shipped to me. Customer service followed up verifying that I received the product and to make sure I was satisfied. More companies should respond the way Etrailer has done.
I ordered my hitch cover and received it within a few days. Upon opening the package I noticed that the cover had been sliced or torn. I immediately contacted etrailer and they had one sent to me within a week as well as a prepaid UPS ticket to send the defective receiver hitch cover back. I am pleased with the way this was handled.
