The good news is this is going to fit all of those Encore Tonneau covers from Extang, and this strap assembly is going to be the direct replacement from Extang, so you can trust that this is going to work just like that original one. Maybe that original one somehow got damaged or somehow misplaced.

The straps and buckles are well made. Material quality looks very good. Would recommend to anyone who has broken the buckle to get these.
