Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Thank you for joining me, we'll be takin' a look at our replacement safety strap for the Truxedo Low-Pro and Truxedo do soft roll-up tonneau covers. So folks, this is a simple replacement part direct from Truxedo so you can be sure it works with those two tonneau covers I just mentioned. Now this holds the tonneau in place behind the cab when it's rolled up, allowing for full access to the truck bed. Now it is very simple to install and to use. As you can see, it would go right over the round, rolled up tonneau cover, you get one safety strap.
It does measure 12 inches long. Now this is a 13 inch ruler, so as you can see it comes right there to 12 inches. So, and as far as a width, right at about an inch wide on the strap width. So again, a direct replacement from Truxedo, nice hard plastic on the hook end there, and nice stitching on the loop and everything as well. So that will wrap it up folks, just a real quick look at a replacement part today.

Exactly what I needed to replace a broken hook. Good price and quick delivery. The ones I ordered appear to be an inch shorter but will hold the cover better when rolled up compared to originals.
These worked out great as a replacment strap for my velcro straps that wore out on my tonneu cover. I bought 2 different lenghts of these and both worked out great. Stood the test of time so far. Would buy again.
Would have given 5 stars if the instructions for installing the replacement safety straps had been included. Called Truxedo they emailed them to me. Once I got those, easy peasy!
The replacement safety straps that I purchased a year ago were easy to install and continue to function well.
Parts for my Tuxedo LoPro tonneau cover arrived on time and fit/ worked perfectly. etrailer.com made it easy and the price was right. I highly recommend them.
Perfect fit on my low profile Truxedo cover on my 2014 Ram 3500. Shorter straps than what came with it so it holds the cover more snugly to keep it from rubbing on the back of the cab. Exactly what I needed.
I ordered two straps, and when they came in one was 2 inches longer than the other one. not a big problem will just get someone to restitch it shorter, there only a couple bucks each so its not worth sending it back etc.....just a little disappointed that it was wrong. these guys normally are good that's why i didn't give them a 1 star. simple mistake I'm sure.

Worked great until I had to replace the complete cover due to velcro stitching coming apart on both sides
