Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Putco Element Chrome In-Channel Window Rain Guards. This is for four pieces. Now this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 to 2020 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab, and it also fits the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Crew Cab trucks.
And on a custom-fit part like this one, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now these rain guards, they're designed to let you crack your windows to allow fresh air to circulate without letting rain or snow in. They do use a moisture-wicking, beaded edge which will control the flow of water to keep the interior vehicle dry, and it has wind-deflecting technology to reduce wind noise while you're driving. They do use an injected molding process to create a customized fit with the in-channel design. Gives you a nice streamline appearance, quick and easy installation, and there's no drilling or cutting.
The chrome finish on this. Let me just zoom in a little bit so you can see up close. This chrome finish creates a nice, sleek, stylish look. It is a four-piece kit. You can see the four pieces, and they are all marked so you know where they go.
This one will stamp driver's front. This one will be the passenger's front. This one will be stamped passenger rear, and this one's driver's rear. So they are stamped to let you know where they go. They are a polycarbonate construction, virtually unbreakable, and to install them, you can see, it does include the 3M tape already attached to it.
You just peel that off and stick them in place. But that should do it for a look at the Putco Element Chrome In-Channel Window Rain Guards.

These inside the track window deflectors did not last. 2 Windows wouldnt close correctly, drivers window broke early on and was replaced by the manufacturer. I cannot reccomend this product at all. Took them off and next time will get the outside the door type.

I reached out to the manufacturer about this issue and they said to pull back on the visor to allow space for the window and leave it there for forty eight hours. This will train the window not to go back down.
