Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement mirror head for the CIPA Extreme rearview boat mirrors. Now, this part here is gonna replace the mirror head that's on your CIPA Extreme boat mirror. Now, that boat mirror we do sell separately. It comes with the adjustable bracket.
This part here is just for the mirror head. That boat mirror with the bracket is part number CM02022. And again, that's sold separately. Again, it's designed to clamp on with the adjustable mounting bracket. Now, the mounting bracket for this is not included.
We would sell that separately on our website. Just to give you an idea, I'm gonna pop up an insert just to show you, there's what the mirror looks like with the adjustable mounting bracket for it. Now, this is a ski boat mirror. It's gonna give you a full view of skiers in tow. Helps reduce blind spots for safe navigation on the water.
It will include the one mirror head with the glass, the mounting stud in the back here, and the adjustment knob. Measurement on this, overall length is 20 inches wide, height, seven inches tall. Now, if you notice, it has a large center mirror. This is gonna give you a good view of what's behind you. It is a flat glass, provides a nice true representation of the size and distance of reflected objects.
The center mirror measurement is 12 inches wide by 6 inches tall. And if you notice on each end, they do give you adjustable convex mirrors on each side here of the main mirror. This will increase your field of vision and reduce any blind spots. The convex design of the glass makes reflections appear smaller than with the flat mirror, so it allows you to see more. The side mirrors themselves are gonna be about four inches wide by about six inches tall. It is a quick and easy installation above or below your boat's windshield. It does use a nice ball and socket adjustment knob, so it's gonna let you position the mirror for optimal visibility. Does use shatterproof safety glass construction, and the housing is an impact-resistant ABS plastic housing, has a nice black finish on it which is very durable and rust-resistant. But that's gonna do it for a look at this replacement mirror head for the CIPA Extreme rearview boat mirrors.
