Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 1157SL LED bulbs. Now, these highly-efficient LED bulbs are designed for use on your vehicle with lights having a clear or white lens cover. These LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or a replacement option, and these can be used as daytime running, reverse, dome, trunk and license plate lights. Many LED upgrades may not be street legal in your state, so you do wanna make sure to check all state regulations before installing and using these. So, the bulb type is 1157, the bulb shape is S-8, and then you see I've included the base information there for you on the screen as well.
And these feature a bright 6,000 kelvin cool white light output. And so since these are LEDs, these bulbs are gonna give immediate response with instant full brightness that will give other drivers more time to react. These are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection, and these bulbs are going to be an easy installation into the standard socket, however, you've noticed I've been wearing gloves here. You do wanna use gloves or maybe even like a clean shop towel to help reduce the transfer of oils from your skin during installation. And then some vehicles do require the use of load resistors when upgrading lights, and those resistors help prevent hyperflash and error codes.
So, if you find out that you do need some load resistors, on your screen, I am including our part number for those load resistors. You can take that part number, pop it in the search field of our website, that will take you to those resistors, and you can add those to your order. Now, it is recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of your vehicle for consistent light level and color, but I do think that's gonna wrap up our look today.
