Question:
I'm wanting to use my sliding Patriot hitch 18K from my old truck for my new 2024 Ram 1500. What rails do I need? it has a 6.5 bed.

I recommend the following Curt base rail kit in order to fit the B&W Patriot Slider # BWRVK3270 on your 2024 Ram 1500:
- Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ram # C16307-204
This custom kit has brackets designed to keep you from drilling into your truck frame for the installation, which means a faster install time and no modification to your frame.
I also recommend picking up the Hopkins Endurance Wiring Harness # 41157 so you can have a 7-Way in the bed of your truck for an easier time connecting your trailer wiring.
