The frame rail pieces were drilled wrong, had to correct them to complete the installation. Didn't enjoy that part. Other than that, normal B&W quality.
The installation went very well. Very simple and easy to follow instructions on all three products I purchased from etrailer (hitch, rails and wiring harness.) I would highly recommend all three products.
Ordered this kit at 10:30 on a Tuesday night and had it delivered to my door by noon on Friday! That’s pretty fast shipping for free. Great product, fit perfect and good instructions, I have bought from Etrailer for years and will continue to be a satisfied customer.
I really love that the rails are custom fit to my truck so I don’t have to drill any holes at all! The order process was very easy and shipping was fast. I found that the installation time was also shorter than the listed time. I would 100% use etrailer again in the future!
Watch the installation video. Read and understand all directions. Doing that install is very straight forward. Some tips in the installation video help. I installed without a lift, having access to a lift would make installation easier. All in all a good solid product. The custom install kit uses existing holes in the frame rails so no drilling on your frame rails. That is in my opinion the best thing about the custom kit. Installed on a 2014 F-250.
I needed a custom 5th wheel hitch rail installation kit quickly. When I first called for some information I was disconnected, however, I believe it was from my end that it happened. A short while later I received a call from Katerina who appologised for the disconnection and asked if there was anything that she could do to help me. I explained that I thought it was my fault and that I wanted information on a 5th wneel rail installation kit. As a result I ordered the item and she was kind enough to a) ensure that the item was shipped when expected, and b) to follow up with the shipping and delivery status, without me having to check with the shipping company. I received the item a day earlier than expected and everything was perfect. I have since installed the kit and am now able to pick up my new 5th wheel trailer on schedule. The B&W Patriot has worked out great for me so far. I kind of wish I would have paid the extra money to get an auto slider, but this one suffices just fine.
Ordering was effortless, salesman was knowledgeable, although I had done my due diligence prior to ordering! Anyways got the proper hitch and rail kit, installed the today and ready to tow! I bought the B & W 18K sliding hitch. Heavy duty and slides great!
Exact fit for our 2015 F250. We installed the brackets ourselves and installation was not to difficult with the instuctions provided. etrailer was excellent to work with and met my needs when I made a last minute decision to pick up in person instead of having the items shipped
Everything installed as designed. Not the easiest project but doable with the proper tools and careful measuring. Sturdy unit. I did replace the washers for the frame rail bolts with some custom made SS square plate as the supplied washers were too thin and deformed when the bolts were fully torqued to specifications.
My order shipped extremely fast and customer service was awesome. The rail system is high quality, was easily installed and works as it should.
It's been one year since the self install of this product. I must say it is holding up no rust and no issues whatsoever. The install took a bit especially while doing it outside in the sun but very happy with product and instructions.
As Advertised. Very pleased. Arrived complete with nothing missing. Instructions all were very clear. Very good price compared to buying at RV dealership.
