Question:

Will airbags work with this kit for 2016 ford 2500. 6.5 box . Going to do a husky bracket and rail kit to truck . Wondering if there will be clearance for an airbag kit as well as most of time they are secured is same area

I have a good solution for you however the Husky Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitchespart # HT31408-686 is not going to work with airbags. Instead you want to use the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVK2401 and the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear Axle part # F2597 that offer 5,000 lbs. of leveling capability or Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle part # F2703 that offer 7,500 lbs. of leveling capability. We have had great success in these working together with out any issues. Keep in mind this doesn't increase your vehicle's capacity simply helps take the strain off of your suspension and re level your truck

The rails will accept all industry standard fifth wheel hitches if you already have one. If not with the short bed you want a slider hitch I recommend the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs part # BWRVK3270. This is a go to for many of us here because it offers great function and easy installation.
