Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Demco Hijacker Premier Series custom mounting brackets for a fifth wheel above bed rail kit. Now, folks, these are again, custom fit, so you need to check out our fit guide here at etrailer.com, top center of the homepage where it says year, make, and model, things like bed length, cab style, those kind of things to be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Another thing to keep in mind is, check that fit guide as this video could possibly be outdated and maybe it fits newer makes, models, and those kind of things as well. Now what these are gonna give you is the installation brackets that mount underneath the truck bed and then mount to the frame of the truck to provide an attachment point for your fifth wheel rails. Now, a base rail kit is sold separately.

I'll throw an item picture here on the screen real quick. That's item number DM6071. That is sold separately. And that would sit in the bed of your truck and allow insulation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch. So, again, you would need that in conjunction with these brackets, but maybe you already have those rails, and you just need the brackets.

So that's what we're looking at today, these custom brackets. Heavy duty. They're super thick. At least a quarter inch, if not bigger. They have been powder coated with a nice finish.

They're not gonna rush or corrode. Everything else here has a zinc finish on it. You've got the two U-bolts here. You've got a couple of big bolts here, nuts, the fish wire, some Loctite, and these blocks here as well for installation. You're also gonna get a set of instructions, so just follow the instructions.

It looks like a pretty simple install. There's not many parts going on here. It should have little to no drilling. These are custom brackets, so they're gonna mount to existing holes in your frame. Sometimes you have to drill one or two holes max, or possibly enlarge a hole that's already there, if for some reason the factory didn't drill it out correctly or something like that. So this will also avoid known obstacles along the truck's frame. And again, it's super sturdy. You get all the hardware. This is the Demco Hijacker Premier Series custom mounting brackets.
