Recommended 4-Bike Bike Rack for a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch Receiver

Question:
I am looking for a four bike holder but I’m not sure what kind of hitch I have on my car. I was looking at this item, but open to other options if this one won’t work on my car. Benton ShiftShow Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2 Hitches - Tilts w/ Bikes Loaded. I have a 2019 Ford edge sport. The sticker on the bottom of the hitch says : class two max gross trailer weight 3,500 pounds and young weight 350pounds. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Rachel, thanks for the information. Your Ford Edge has a class II 1-1/4" hitch so you're going to need to go with a different bike rack. The Benton ShiftShow Bike Rack item # B94FR only fits a 2" hitch.
Instead of the ShiftShow, I recommend the Thule Camber Bike Rack item # TH9056. This is also a 4-bike hanging bike rack. It has a 37-1/2 lbs weight capacity per bike and fits in class II 1-1/4" hitches. I really like the tilting feature the Chamber has as it gives you better access to your rear cargo area.

Thank you very much! We have two, Giant Revolt bikes and two kids 20” bikes. We’re hoping the bike rack will grow with us. As a kids transitioned into adult bikes. Thanks again for the help on this really appreciate it and I agree that you we will like the tilting feature!
