Is Movement Normal with Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel HItch
Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 08/27/2025 >
Question:
We bought a 5th wheel hitch back in June for our 2024 raptor. Just wondering if there is supposed to be play in the hitch?

Hey Carissa, it looks like back in June you bought the Demco Autoslide 5th wheel part # DM44SV from us. All fifth wheel hitches have a little bit of play with the slider hitches having a bit more since there are moving in the hitch. I would say you are most likely fine and the movement is normal but that depends on how much movement you have and where you see the movement?
