Hi Mike!

We do have the Replacement Rod and Nut for Ram Square, Direct Weld Jacks - 12K # TJD-12000-RODNUT for your jack (I looked it up on Big Tex's website and it is a 12k Ram jack), but that is the only replacement part currently available. If it ends up needing more than that, you will need a full replacement.

The Square Direct Weld Jack - Drop Leg w/ Spring Return - Sidewind - 28-3/4" Lift - 12K # TJD-15000SP-F you found looks to be an exact replacement for what you currently have installed. It is more expensive to go with a full replacement, but I can honestly say it will be a lot easier than trying to fix an old one.

What do you typically use your Big Tex Trailer for?

The old jack is welded at at least 5 different places on the trailer frame. I would like to buy the complete new jack, leave the old outside of the jack welded to the frame and just use guts of the new jack. Is this possible?

@Mike Don't know why I hadn't thought of that. It is definitely possible and probably the best way to go. I would go with the # e42ZV jack if you don't need the crank though. Same exact part but doesn't have said crank and it's a bit less expensive at the moment. : )

@LazerS my outside square tube welded to frame is 24 in. The one sent to me is 23in. Do you think the new jack insides will fit in my longer sq. Tu be?

@Mike That can happen every now and then but with everything being internal, it will not be an issue.
