Need To Replace Leaf Springs On Boat Trailer
Updated 05/28/2025 | Published 05/23/2025 >
Question:
I need to replace the leaf springs on my boat trailer. I do not see the correct springs on your site but there appear to be some plastic bushings I need also. I was hoping to send you a picture and see if you could help me. Thanks.

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I can certainly point you in the right direction. The main thing I will need to know is the weight capacity of your axle, and the eye-to-eye length of the current springs. It is best to jack up one side of the trailer so you can measure the springs when unloaded.
Hit the reply button below and let me know those specs for your spring. I am happy to look into it and make a recommendation.
All of our double eye leaf springs will come with pre-inserted nylon bushings.

I don’t have any specs on the trailer because it is so old. They are slipper springs and seem to be 26.25” at 1.75” wide and there are 5 leaves. The bushings don’t just fit around the bolt going through the frame but also come around the sides of the spring to keep it centered in the bracket. I have pictures but can’t seem to send them here. Thanks you!
