Question:

I have a bulldog 12000 jack that the cylinder has started leaking oil and can it repacked or would it be better to just replace the whole cylinder. The number i got was 69516497 if thats helpful but I need to know as soon as you can got to get trailer back to work. Thanks,

Hi Andy,

The 69516497 unfortunately didn't come back to anything for me, but I can say that the manufacturer doesn't really offer replacement cylinders so you would either need to replace the jack entirely or reach out to a local company that works on hydraulic cylinders to see if they can rebuild it for you. If you want to go the replacement route then we have a few options to choose through. If you're wanting to stick with the Bulldog brand you can swap to the # BD182701.

If you're wanting something with a motor to make lifting and lowering the trailer faster and easier then you could go with the etrailer # e33VV you were looking at. This would come with a wired remote to plug in and activate the motor. This jack has a 12,000lb lift capacity and 15,000lb support capacity so it's likely just a bit higher rated than your current jack.
