For your application you'll want to use the Tensioner for 8K - 12K Bulldog Winch Standard Series Truck Winches # BDW20234. This is designed for Bulldog winches but we've been able to confirm that it is compatible with Badlands winches in the same weight range.

The Tensioner for Bulldog Winch Standard Series Truck Winch #BDW20234 will help in evenly putting the cable on but you would still want to watch it and make sure it is spooling up the right way.

See the attached photos. The first photo shows the mounting bolts, which are 10” apart, center to center. The second photo is the roller, which is 8” in width. The last photo shows the roller bracket, which is 7.25” in width.

The springs of the #BDW20234 are not available separately. Only solution will be to go with the #BDW20234 to replace all of what you have. This does match what you sent in a picture of.
