How to Keep Winch Wire From Bunching Up When Retracting

When I wind my wire cable back on my electric winch it is hard to keep it from bunching up.

Hey Tim, that sounds like a real pain. I'm no winch expert, but from what I understand all you'd need to do is keep the wire at a 90 degree angle. So you'd need to look for a winch wire guide, which is designed to keep your wire from bunching up.
We do also have winch tensioners like # BDW20234 which will work with Bulldog winches that you can use. You'd just need to let us know what winch you have and I'd be happy to see what we have.

I have a badlands 12000 I don’t understand where to mount the tensioner with the bolts on the top because of the way that the control box is mounted
