Best Hitch for 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Towing With 2022 Ram 2500

I’m looking at purchasing a BandW companion fifth wheel hitch. I have a 2022 ram 2500 crew cab Laramie night edition. I will be hauling both gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers/campers. I’d like to know my best options in achieving both hitches while still being able to have a clear bed if need to be. Thanks

B&W is definitely going to be your best option for your 2022 Ram 2500. The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1320 will allow you to tow a gooseneck trailer and since the ball stores upside down inside the hitch you will have full bed access when not in use.

This also allows you to use the Companion # BWRVK3500-5W if you have the long bed or # BWRVK3400-5W for the short bed model. With this setup you're getting a lot of versatility along with the high quality and performance you can expect from a B&W 5th wheel hitch. In addition to the gooseneck and 5th wheel hitch you will also need wiring # PK11893-11932 if you don't already have it.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
