Question:

Hello!, I occasionally I tow a 5500lb trailer with approximately 550 pounds of tongue weight I also tow a 7k tractor a couple times a year with about 700 pounds on the tongue. I would love some kind of suspension upgrade for my 2023 Chevy trailboss 1500 with 3.0 diesel. I would like to maintain a quality ride unloaded but need something to handle the loads I tow, I am leaning towards sumosprings but an add a leaf or airbags would also be an option any recommendations would help. Thanks!

The SumoSpring kits are nice and really reliable, but since you plan on towing a variety of weight when it comes to cargo I highly recommend equipping your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail-Boss with air bags so you can get the exact amount of help that you're wanting/needing. Air Lift is the only kit that fits the Trail-Boss model so I recommend the following:

- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88388

This kit gives you the air support you need and includes internal jounce bumpers to further protect your truck in the event the air bags have a blowout (which isn't likely, but it's still good to have safety precautions).

I also recommend picking up a compressor kit like the Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System # AL25804 so you can monitor and adjust the psi rating in your air bags on the fly.
