Greasing Recommendations for Installing the Redline Trailer Idler Hub Assembly 84550UC1-EZ

Question:
I ordered these for a 2004 Carson trailer and was just wondering if additional grease is required for installation. I have the spindles all cleaned up and “bare” and don’t know if I should add a thin layer of grease around the spindle before installing the hub. I know it’s pre-greased, but is that sufficient? Should I add some to the zerk fitting once it’s on?

The Redline Trailer Idler Hub Assembly item # 84550UC1-EZ comes pre-greased with LMX Red Grease like item # L11390. The bearings will come prepacked but you will want to add some grease to the spindle when you install the hubs and then some to the zerk fitting once you get the hub mounted.
If you need a grease gun I recommend the LubriMatic Professional Pistol Grease Gun item # L30416.
