How to Wire 4 Trailer Wires Into the Pollak 6-Pole Trailer Connector
Question:
I have 4 wired Brown yellow green and white used 6 point Connector

Expert Reply:
Typically, the wire colors are brown for running lights, green for right turn and brake lights, and yellow for left turn and brake lights. White is ground. To confirm this on a trailer you can trace the wires back to see where they terminate or take a separate 12 volt battery and use it to power each wire to see what lights up.
To wire up the 6-Way # PK11604 with the 4 wires if looking at the back of the 6-Way where the wires attach running lights will be in the 12 oclock position, ground will be in the 2 oclock position, right turn and brake will be in the 7 oclock position, and left turn and brake will be in the 5 oclock position.
I included a picture that should help.
