Question:

I’m looking for a replacement a/c unit for my 2019 coachman freedom express ultra lite 248 rbs. I know it’s a duotherm 15,000 btu unit, but I don’t know the model.

If you're just wanting to replace the rooftop unit and keep your air distribution box then the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner # ACDOM150 you were looking at would be a great option. The only you'll need to check first is the connector on the wiring harness that runs from the rooftop unit to the controller. It should have either a 6-pin or 9pin connector (pictured below). If you have a 6-pin you'll be good to go, but if you have a 9-pin you'll need to use an adapter # ACCOLKIT.

I've attached a short video below showing the wiring harness and the adapter if you want to check that out to better prepare yourself. On the unit I was working on the controller was mounted inside the rooftop unit but it can also be mounted in the ceiling between the air distribution box and rooftop unit.

If you're wanting to replace the entire system then you'll want to go with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - White # FR55PV (black # FR23PV). This will give you the rooftop unit, air distribution box, controller, and a wall thermostat. These units also require slightly less power while running than the Advent Air which can be helpful if you're trying to run multiple things in your trailer all at once.
