Question:
Hi, I own a 6x12 Carry On brand single axle utility trailer. Need a new axle, Ive bent the one thats currently on my trailer and its making the tires wear fast and unevenly. Any idea which axle would be needed for this particular trailer? If yes how much? Thanks

In order to choose the correct replacement axle for a trailer you'll first want to start with the weight capacity. The weight capacity can be found on the axle tag in the center of the beam. Then, you'll need to measure the hub face (center of hub face to center of hub face) and spring center (center of spring center to center of spring center). This will then give you the info needed to pick out the correct replacement axle for your trailer. I have also attached a video I did to help others with this same thing so be sure to give that a watch.
The Trailer Axle Beam part # e38GR for example is a 3,500 lb axle which measures measures 89" long at the hub face and 74" at the spring center though these can be moved. I have attached a full list of all our other axles you can choose from once you have the info above.
