Will the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs Provide Enough Bumper Clearance

Question:
Looking to install on 2021 Alliance Valor 42v13 toy hauler. I’ll be double checking the frame width tomorrow. My concern is if there will be enough clearance where the bumper is and where it will mount to a carrier I want to use to haul things in. I’ve heard of people having issues with clearing the rear bumper/frame. I don’t have a bumper per say. The frame attaches directly to aluminum body work. There is way to attach a bumper style hitch, that’s why I’m looking at a frame mounted one. Any help or suggestions would be of help. Thanks

In regards to the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs part # 13703, the brackets have a built-in offset so you can install them in a manor which pushes the crosstube further out towards the bumper. This will help reduce clearance issues with accessories. That said, I can't confirm if this will give you enough clearance for your exact trailer and accessory combo unfortunately but if not, there are other solutions like a different carriers or hitch extenders like the Curt Hitch Extender part # C76DR if worse comes to worse.
