Is this the same fan? I am trying to replace the bathroom fan in a 2017 airstream flying cloud 23d bunk. Airstream Bathroom Power Ventilator 690266-01 Thank you.

Yes, the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # VP-543SP is the same as the 690266-01 that's already in your Airstream. I recommend picking up some plastic trim panel tools like # PT73HJ to help pull up the old sealant without scratching up the roof.

You'll want to use some butyl tape # AL28FJ around the mounting flange and some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 over the top of the flange to get a nice waterproof seal.

Once closed, the MaxxFan Dome Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, #MA00-03810W does not let light in. You can open the vent and not turn on the fan. This fan fits roofs that are 1" to 6" thick, so you would need to build up the roof of your trailer…

Hey Tom, so the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent part #VP-543SP will fit a roof from 1-1/2" - 2-1/2 inches in thickness so yours being 2 inches would work just fine!
