It is not that hard to hook up to a 5th wheel hitch and the Blue Ox Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter item # BLU52XR is by far one of the most simple ones. I have linked a video below that will show you the steps. The main difficulty will be lining the king pin up with your truck so you may want some help and expect to pull forward and back up a few times. The Blue Ox has a funnel shaped hitch head to help out.

The Blue Ox Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Adapter item # BLU52XR has a 21,000 lbs capacity. It attaches directly to standard gooseneck balls. It won't work with ones that have a rise. It has a 3" height adjustment to line up perfectly with your trailer's height.

I recently towed with the Blue Ox and found it super easy to install and the ride was smooth with little to no noise.
