For your dual 100-lb propane tanks, and your 199,000 btu water heater, I recommend using the:

-Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525, with the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail Hose # 100019-60.

You will need two of the hoses to connect to your tank, and then to the regulator. Additionally, this regulator has a btu rating of 262,500 so you will have plenty of capacity for your water heater.

I have a question. I have 2 100 pound propane bottles with POL fittings for a 30000 BTU wall heater what automatic change over regulator do I need? The other question is will propane leak out while getting the 2nd tank refilled?

@GerryS You'll want to go with the JR Products Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-30395. When you turn the lever towards the propane tank you're using it will prevent propane from leaking out the other side (the side that has the propane tank you're filling up).
