Replacement Hub Assembly for 1999 Flagstaff Pop Up Camper
Question:
Hi, I have a 1999 flagstaff pop up camper. I need an entire hub assembly. It’s a 4 lug nuts. Do you recommend to change both guns or just the one that is bad?

In order to find the correct replacement hub for your 1999 Flagstaff Pop Up Camper you are going to need to identify the bearings you have now. You may be able to find the part number stamped into the side of your bearings once you remove and inspect them.
If you are unable to find a part number, you will need to measure. I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157. You can either measure the inner diameter of your bearings or the spindle where the bearings ride. See the attached diagram below.
With that 4 on 4 bolt pattern you more than likely have a 2,000 lb axle. If you find that your bearings have an inner diameter of 1.063" you will be able to use the # AKIHUB-440-2-2K you were looking at. If you have an inner diameter of 1.00" then you would need the # AKIHUB-440-2-1K instead.
As long as the other hub and bearings are in good shape you shouldn't need to replace them. However, given the age of the trailer it probably isn't a bad idea to go ahead and replace both.
