Do I Need To Lock The Steering Wheel When Towing A Vehicle With The Roadmaster Tow Dolly
Question:
If the tow dolly deck moves as you turn towing the dolly, do you have to lock the steering wheel?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, that is correct. When using the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs, part # RM-2050-1, you have to lock your steering wheel. I also recommend using a wheel lock as a fail safe. This way you have added protection you know your tow dolly will stay put. I prefer the The Wheel Club - Tire and Wheel Lock, part # WI490. It can fit tires up to 16", so you will have no issues using it with the Roadmaster Tow Dolly.
I have included a product description link and video review links below.
