Question:
I have an addmotor m66 r7 moped - spec review says 75 lbs but it isnt posted in online specs- havent weighed it for sure. So assume 100 lbs each for safety. Thinking of purchasing a second one soon. Cadillac SRX has 2 inch receiver mounted by uhaul for hauling trailers. What do you recommend fir hauling two of these mopeds. Do not want them to bump each other. Would love some kind of tilt away so could get in hatchback of suv while traveling to get drinks from cooler at rest stops etc. Have seen some that hang bikes by wheels but have braces to separate but not sure what is best setup- advice appreciated! Thanks!

The best route for transporting your two Addmotor m66 r7 mopeds on your Cadillac SRX's 2-inch receiver is the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer - 7-1/2' Long - 1,640 lbs # K2MMT5X7. The Detail K2 Utility Trailer has a bed dimension of 88 inches long x 52 inches wide which is plenty of space to fit your 72-inch long mopeds. Given that the handlebar width of the mopeds is 30 inches, you may have a bit of overhang with the handlebars, but it will not be enough to be a safety hazard. The K2 Utility Trailer does tilt backwards for easy loading, but it is unlikely that it is enough tilt to let you fully open the rear hatch of your vehicle. There are no other platforms/carriers that can accommodate 2 100-pound mopeds that allow for that function. In addition to your hitch, you will need a 4-way wiring harness. For the harness, I would be happy to make a recommendation for you if you provide me with the year of your Cadillac SRX.
As far as fastening the mopeds to the trailer, I discovered that the tire width of your mopeds is 4.5 inches. With that width, I recommend 2 of the Erickson Removable Motorcycle Wheel Chock - 6" Wide Tires # EM07506. The chock will accommodate tires up to 6 inches wide and involves drilling for a simple bolt-on installation to the floor of the K2 trailer. For straps, I recommend the ShockStrap Ratchet Motorcycle Tie-Downs w Shock Absorbers - 1-1/2" x 7' - 1,000 lbs - Qty 4 # 297-7RSBB-M.
Given the 451 pound weight of the Detail K2 trailer, the 28 pounds total of the wheel chocks, and the combined weight of both of your mopeds, I recommend that you consult with your owner's manual to make sure that your Cadillac SRX will be able to tow that much weight.
