Does Reese Revolution Rotating Pin Box Need to Be Locked Out When Towing With Long Bed Truck

Question:
My new 5er came with a Reese Revolution sidewinder pin box. I have an 8 foot bed and really havent had any problems turning or backing. Is there an advantage or disadvantage to one configuration over the other in my case? Thanks

Since you have a long bed truck, it doesn't really matter one way or the other if you lock out the Revolution/Sidewinder like the # RP34FR so the king pin rotates at the hitch, rather than the rotation happening occurring at the turret where the pin box meets the 5th wheel. If you wish to lock out the Revolution, follow the instructions I've screenshot for you.
If it were me, I'd just leave things as they are now, since it makes no difference one way or the other.
