Does the Size of the Center Bore Matter When Selecting 5 Lug Spare Wheel/Tire for Trailer
Question:
Hi i have a trailer with rims that have 5 lug 4.5 space. I wanted a spare rim. Does center bore matter at all. I have seen alot with 3.19. but i think mine is like 2.75. Just using as spare so want to make sure before i buy. Thanks

The center bore is more or less irreverent when using lug piloted wheels which are most common on trailers. The center bore simply needs to fit over the hub which is rarely an issue. I have attached a list of all our wheel/tires that use a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. I would be glad to make a recommendation if you can provide the tire size.
If you don't already have a spare tire carrier, take a look at the CE Smith Offset Spare Tire Carrier part # CE27310G.
