Troubleshooting Electric Stabilizer Jacks Suddenly Not Working on Trailer

Question:

All stabilizers failed at the same time. They are installed on a 2016 Forest River Super V The motors have power you can hear them turn. One jack will come down but will only retract manually.

The fact that the electric stabilizers on your Forest River Super V Trailer failed at the same time leads me to believe that the issue is at the power source. It's very possible that the battery has enough juice to send power to the motors but not enough to actually operate the jacks when under load. This actually isn't terribly uncommon.

I highly recommend inspecting your battery to make sure it's fully charged and in good condition. Also check that the power wires are securely attached and that the ground attachment doesn't have any debris or corrosion built up that may be preventing a solid connection.
