Question:
Hi, I need to replace the trailer jack on a 1997 2460 Viking pop up camper 25th anniversary edition wondering what’s the best way to go here? Also how many pounds I might need? I would like something that’ll fit in the current holes that were cut for the jack that came with it. Doesn’t necessarily have to be the same one!

If you have 12V power on your trailer (or you are willing to add it) I highly recommend going with the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX because it is a great electric jack at a great price-point. It provides 25-1/8" of lift and has a 3,500 lb capacity which is more than enough for your camper.
For a manual jack I recommend the Square A-Frame Jack w/ Footplate # TJDA-5000S because it gives you the highest lift at 28-3/4". This jack is rated for 3,000 lbs so it will also have more than enough capacity for your application.
Both of these use the standard bolt hole locations which are about 3-3/8" apart on center. The holes are elongated though so if you measure something slightly different it will still work.
Attached are review videos for each that you can check out.
