Air Bags Hit Exhaust Pipes on a 1994 GMC K1500
Question:
My truck has dual exhaust and because of the rear shock placement, the drivers side is right up against the air bags. The only thing I can see to do is cut the exhaust after the muffler to extend it half the distance to the shock. Then cut it back after the shock to keep it even at the bumper.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2025 is designed to work on a 1994 GMC K1500 with the factory exhaust. If you have an aftermarket exhaust that is interfering with the airbags which it sounds like is the case then you will need to make some adjustments to your tail pipes in order to make the two work for you.
If you don't want to modify your exhaust then you can look into the RoadActive Suspension part # RAS4611 which would serve the same purpose as the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs.
