Recommended Grease/Dust Caps for the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR526D
Question:
Could you help me order the proper size dust caps for the Kodiak K2HR526D that I recently purchased and installed from etrailer? The picture shows the new brakes with the old dust cap, which I would like to replace with a new dust cap given all the work that went into this project. Thank you!

The correct grease/dust cap size for your Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR526D is 2.44". For EZ Lube grease caps with this dimension we have part # RG04-080 which comes in a quantity of 2.
If you are wanting to upgrade to Bearing Buddys (which would require you to remove the grease zerk on your spindle) we have these both in Chrome # BB2441 and Stainless Steel # BB2441SS. The advantage of the Bearing Buddys over the EZ Lube is that the Bearing Buddys give you an easy way to add grease and keep from overfilling it due to the pressure relief feature (the grease seeps around the piston edges when it is full). They also add some slight pressure with a spring-loaded piston to keep water from getting into the hub.
Attached are review videos for all 3 options that you can reference.
