Best 15 inch Trailer Tire Recommendation for Horse Trailer
Question:
I purchased a 1982 rustler 2 horse trailer to do an overhaul on. The tires on it are dry rotted and going to be replaced. The current tires are 205/70r15. It doesnt seem like a heavy duty enough tire for a horse trailer, especially an older steel trailer. Do you have a suggestion on tire for this trailer? Should I stick with the 205/70r15 and look for a load range E or can there be another tire size option on a 15inch rim?

Expert Reply:
The best trailer tire we offer for a 15 inch diameter wheel would be the Karrier tire size 225/75-15 part # AM10303 as this has a weight capacity of 2,830 max load at 80 psi, a speed rating of 81 mph. This size will easily fit as a replacement for what you have currently as well.
I also attached a review video for this tire for you to check out as well.
