Recommended Replacement Axle for 2002 Coleman Westlake Pop-Up Camper with Lifted Ground Clearance
Question:
Hello, I have a 2002 Coleman Westlake pop up camper. I want to do the axle flip to get additional ground clearance and higher ride height. I know you sell kits to accomplish this. What I really want is to purchase a new axle with electric brakes and the leaf spring supports already welded on top so I can just install it when it arrives. Can you offer this product or modify an existing assembly prior to shipping it to me? Thanks!

We do not have the thru-axles with the flipped leaf spring mounts already attached. My recommendation is to use the Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - EZ-Lube - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 89" - 3,500 lbs # e43SR if your spring centers are 74 inches and then use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00.
If you have different spring dimensions then I instead recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4" Lift Spindle - Regular Tires - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S06 which will give you the height you desire and will replace your leaf spring system. This will require a 2 inch square tube (not included) for the integrated holes that is cut to your custom length. Then you can add the brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA and hubs # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K.
