Recommended Powered Towing Mirrors for 2005 GMC Sierra 2500
Published 08/24/2018 >
Question:
I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD with power extending mirrors also with power adjust, heated and turn signal. The long dimension of the OEM mirror is horizontal - which limits depth of visibility with long trailers. I like the arrangement of the KS62075-76G mirror long dimension vertical with an integrated spot mirror, but would like to keep the power extend feature of my stock mirrors. Is the KS62075-76G mirror power or manual extend?

The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62075-76G referenced in your question are confirmed to fit your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD. As long as your truck came equipped with the power adjustment, heating, and turn signal capabilities then the replacement towing mirrors will retain these functions. The telescoping function of these mirrors though are manually operated. To extend the mirrors out you will just physically pull them away from the vehicle and push them back into place when you're not towing.
I have attached an installation video on the 2007 model Sierra so you can get a good idea of how they will look and operate on your truck.
