Do the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors Fold In or Out
Updated 11/27/2018 | Published 11/25/2018 >
Question:
Hi, I see that some aftermarket Towing mirrors have an upward tilt to them after they are mounted.. Do these have a tilt to them or do they come out straight from the truck after being mounted? Also, do these fold inward/outward towards door or fender? Thanks

I cannot say that I have heard of this issue before. I took a look at the reviews for the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors part # KS62075-76G and only one person mentioned a tilt to the mirror but they stated the tilt was angled towards the ground rather than the sky like you mentioned. I think this just boils down to how they are installed. They install using pre-drilled holes in the door but there is some room for adjustment here so I think the tilting issues is rather a lack of adjustment upon installation. As you can see in the attached photo and many others on our product page, they have a very factory like appearance.
In regards to the breakaway feature, they will fold in towards the cab if you were to make contact with an object while in drive but they would not fold out towards the fender if you were to make contact with an object while in reverse. I have attached a sample install video for you as well.
