If you can read me the serial number on the axle I can then call the manufacturer, Dexter, and find out the weight capacity but if not you can measure the diameter and use the chart below to determine axle capacity. The "P16" is the plant it was made.

- 1,000-lb - 2,000-lb Axles: 1-1/2 inch - 1-3/4 inch diameter
- 3,500-lb Axles: 2-3/8 inch diameter
- 6,000-lb - 7,200-lb Axles: 3 inch diameter
- 8,000-lb Axles: 3-1/2 inch diameter
- 9,000-lb Axles: 4 inch diameter
- 10,000-lb + Axles: 5 inch diameter

@TreffF what specifically are you looking for? A replacement axle? Bearings, hubs, brakes? I can contact Dexter this week when they're open to have them identify the axle but that information would be helpful to have.

@TreffF they weren't able to tell me the capacity, they said it is an older axle. I would assume 2k based on the possible bearings. They also cannot get the exact bearings. You either need # L44649 inner and outer bearings with # RG06-020 (10-60) grease seals or # L44643 inner and outer bearings with a 010-003-00 seal that we don't carry or have an equivalent for. Unfortunately, you're going to have to pull off your hubs and verify which set of bearings and seals you need.
