How to Prevent Limited Ground Clearance on a 2017 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Top of receiver hope about 8.5 inches above ground unloaded. Often scrapes ground. Should I get a Eco hitch and/or air lifts on my 2017 sienna??

I have two options for the limited ground clearance you have on your 2017 Toyota Sienna. The first option as you mentioned would be to install a different trailer hitch. The trailer hitch we have for your Sienna that will offer the most ground clearance is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7255 which from the ground to the top of the inside edge of the receiver tube is 13-1/4".
The other option you have will prevent the hitch from scraping the ground but it will not give you any more ground clearance. This option entails the use of a skid wheel like the Ultra-Fab Steel Roller part # UF48-979020. Please keep in mind that this option will only work for you if you have a 2" trailer hitch on your Sienna.
The Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60732 will not raise the vehicle but if you are only scraping the trailer hitch when the vehicle is loaded then this may also be another option for you as it will prevent sag which will in turn give you more ground clearance than you did have with the vehicle loaded.
I have attached an install video of the hitch and airbags for you as well.
