Question:
Will this unit, HM48925 work on a 1998 Tacoma, standard cab, 2.4 ltr, 4 cylinder truck, I dont see it listed on your FITS list. Is there any problem with turn signals working at a different speed or vehicle needing a special flasher unit?

Expert Reply:
If you want to hardwire in a trailer connector to your 1998 Toyota Tacoma then you can use # HM48925. It is just more work though when you could use a harness that plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring such as # HM43315. But it is totally up to you.
You should not have to have any sort of special flasher or load resistors for the unit to work. That sort of thing is only an issue on certain applications with LED lights on the vehicle side and almost never affects the trailer wiring harness.
