Your 2017 Subaru Outback has a maximum towing capacity or 2700 lbs. For a trailer that will meet your towing needs and hold up to long distances, I recommend the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer # K2MMT5X7. This trailer has the payload capacity of 1640 lbs, but has the GVWR of 2,090 lbs. It has 12 inch wheels, leaf spring suspension, a tilt bed, and has a 2 inch coupler.
I've attached some videos to help further.
