Question:
I am installing a Prodigy P2 controller in my 2004 Nissan Frontier truck. No factory towing package, so no plug-in adapter. I understand that I need to tie into the brake switch above the pedal with the Scotchlock connector. Im unable to locate a wiring diagram for my truck. Which of the two wires - what colour - connected to the brake switch should I tie the controller actuation wite into? Thanks in advance!

I did a little research online and found that the brake switch wire that you are looking for will be a brown wire with a thin red tracer on the plug at the brake pedal switch. There will also be a brown wire with a thick red tracer, but that is not the correct wire to use.
Usually the easiest way to find out which wire to use is to check all the wires on the brake pedal switch for voltage with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. You should see power on the wire when the brake pedal is applied and then none when the brakes are released.
