Question:
I have a trailer with two 205 x 65 x 10 load range e tires. I want a spare. Can I use a 205 x 65 x 10 load range c tire for a spare? the trailer is a dual jetski trailer. the weight of each ski is about 785 ibs or 1600 lbs in total.

My recommendation is to stay with the load range that your trailers axle is rated for and that matches the tires on your trailer. In this case a load range E trailer tire, like item # AM3H490, is rated for 1,650 lbs, which would be good for a single axle trailer with a 3,000 to 3,300 lb axle.
If the Axle on your trailer is rated lower, 2,200 pounds or less then going with a load range C tire for a spare would be just fine, but having a load range E tire on the opposite side could cause uneven tire wear and heat build up of the smaller tire on the opposite side.
Even though the spare most likely will not be used often, it is still recommended to make sure it is rated to match the trailer capacity, just in case it does need to be used on a long trip where excessive weight would cause heat build up and eventual failure of a tire with a lower load range.
I have included a link to some trailer tire information that should be helpful to you.

Hey I have a double loadrite ski trailer that I'm looking to replace the wheels and tires on. They told me to get 480/12 tires and it's 3600lb axel. What would be a good load range? Thanks!
