For a lighting solution that will allow you to wire your 2004 Jeep Liberty's tail lights to accept your RV's signal lights, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15247. This kit also has enough coiled wire to go directly from your Jeep to the 7-Way connector on the RV.
In order to flat tow your vehicle, you will also need base plates, a tow bar, safety cable set and a supplemental braking system.
Starting with the base plates, I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1119. This kit is confirmed to fit your Jeep Liberty and features removable bracket arms to provide a clean look when your vehicle is not being towed.
Then for a tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380. This tow bar is compatible with the Blue Ox Base Plates and has a weight capacity of 6,500 pounds. Safety cables are included with this particular tow bar.
For a supplemental braking system, I really like the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. This is a great proportional system that will physically press down on the brake pedal in your Jeep at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to it in your RV.
One final component that you may need is a high-low adapter. I have attached an article that will explain how to choose one for your system and a link that will take you to our available selection. I have also included video demonstrations on the products mentioned and an article on flat towing that you might find helpful.
